ABOUT ME
I am Laia, artisan jeweller, and since late 2011 I have lived on Lanzarote. Here I think, design and create all my collections.
I like travelling, I am fascinated by nature and usually fall in love with landscapes. I am moved by all the patterns and colours I find there.
The idea of any project starts from this feeling: look, photograph, search, discover … and most of all appreciate everything a natural space can offer.
A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME…
I began my studies with a course firing enamel on copper, in a small village south of Tarragona. Upon completion, and having realized what pleased me more was working on small format pieces, I decided to continue training and specialize in artistic jewellery, this time in Barcelona, at the EASD Llotja.
Shortly after I moved to the wonderful island of Lanzarote and here I decided to set up my own workshop and step by step, to start creating professionally. So, once I obtained my craftsman’s license, I started selling my creations in the various artisan markets of the island.

At the end of my jewellery studies I was lucky that my final project was selected to be displayed at Joya Barcelona, one of the top trade fairs in the artistic and contemporary jewellery world.
